Tumu Herenga Tāngata is a governance sub-committee, its role is to:
- assist the Board in meeting its statutory responsibilities as a good employer;
- monitor performance of the Tumu Whakarae (CE)
The responsibilities are, but are not limited to, assisting Te Korowai Board in its oversight of the following matters:
- developing annual workplan
- regular monitoring and feedback on the performance of the Tumu Whakarae, including performance reviews
- maintaining and overseeing organisational capacity
- ensuring successful execution of Board strategy
- recommending remuneration levels of the Tumu Whakarae
- informing the Board of KPIs
- monitoring succession plans
- available to attend hui
- 4-year term
